Today I should have got the visas. This would have been the 5 days max that I was told last Friday at NZ House.
I phoned them today …… they answered straight away. They conversation went along the lines of ……
“Hi, I’m phoning to check the progress of the WTR visas that were lodged last Friday.”
“Last Friday? …. That’s not a long time ago, they normally take 1 – 2 weeks. I can’t speed them up until it’s the week that you travel.”
“Well I do travel on or abou the 22nd of this month! I’m getting … er …. tetchy.”
“Call on Monday or Tuesday and I’ll see.”
“Ok then”
Well it’s simple the panic is setting in a little more, just in-case there wasn’t enough stress already. I’ll post more details when I know anything …. this will be on Monday or Tuesday and if I don’t hear anything then I’ll panic big time! This is getting silly as it’s only about 2 weeks before I’m off (if I get the visa).
We had an offer on the house …. we said no. £25,000 less than the asking price was just too much of a discount!
